Djembe and hand drumming classes with Tripp Bratton
...............................................................
Every Sunday 2:00-3:30 at Blue Hill Station 1060 W High St Suite 130, Lexington, KY 40508
I usually organize the class into 4 or 5 week sessions that focus on a certain set of rhythms and techniques and have a discounted fee for those that register for the entire session - usually $50 for a 5 week session or for $12 for a single class. Anyone can join a class at any point in the session.
I cover West African, Caribbean, and Latin rhythms and techniques including tone production, rhythm theory, traditional arrangements of rhythms, breaks and lead phrases, improvisation, and more.
Beginners and Vets are all welcome
Extra drums are always on hand and available to play
